Have you ever noticed how a memory feels different when the colors fade? I photograph in black and white because I’m interested in what’s left behind once the palette is gone.

To me, it’s where the real story lives; in the composition of a smile, the depth of a shadow, and the quiet, candid emotions that color sometimes hides.
